Hillsides Home for Children
Hillsides is a diocesan institution that provides innovative, effective treatment of abused, neglected and abandoned children and their families. Founded in 1913, Hillsides helps more than 1,000 children and 300 families annually with residential programs, trauma recovery, prevention and education, and in-home programs.
Holy Family Services
Holy Family Services Adoption & Foster Care (HFS) is an accredited California state-licensed, nondenominational, noprofit 501(c)3 adoption and foster care agency established in 1949. It became an institution of the Diocese of Los Angeles in 2007. Its services are provided to birth parents and prospective adoptive parents, adult adoptees (adopted through HFS), and those who wish to become temporary, short-term foster parents. Neighborhood Youth Association
NYA is a community-based agency and diocesan institution that addresses the needs of troubled youth and their families from low-income, minority areas in the Western region of Los Angeles County. Responding to community concerns by using a comprehensive approach to social service delivery, NYA's PERSONAL BEST program provides educational enrichments with a long-range goal of success in school for every participant youngster. Founded in 1906, NYA offers the skills of a professional, multicultural staff representing a variety of disciplines within the field of human services.
Our Saviour Center
The Center is a community outreach, located in El Monte and sponsored by Church of Our Saviour in San Gabriel. It provides a variety of services including food, emergency shelter, job assistance, parenting instruction, health services, computer training, youth after school programs, a pre-school, and scouting.
